The Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro has announced that it has launched an important renovation project for Utjeha Beach in the municipality of Bar, aiming to improve its appearance and functionality.

“The contract for the development of the technical solution and execution of the works has been signed, and construction is currently underway according to the planned schedule. The works are expected to be completed within 20 days. The total value of this project is approximately €96,000, covering the demolition of the existing damaged concrete surface (around 500 square meters), removal of collapsed material, construction of a new 40-meter-long coastal wall, and installation of a new concrete surface,” the company stated.

They further added that upon completion, Utjeha Beach will become a safer, more functional, and aesthetically improved space, enhancing the experience for visitors.

“In addition, the project will contribute to the expansion and organization of the bathing area, further enriching the tourist offer and ensuring the preservation of the natural resources of this region. The Public Enterprise for Coastal Zone Management of Montenegro continues to invest in projects that promote the protection and sustainable development of the coastal area, aiming to enhance the quality of infrastructure and increase visitor satisfaction along the Montenegrin coast,” the statement concluded.
