The Crnojevica River is one of the most picturesque places in Montenegro. It is famous for the fact that its waters fill the legendary Skadar Lake, and the surroundings through which it flows are rich in various attractions – from cozy fishing villages with a pronounced local flavor to ancient churches and monasteries. And the very name of the river can tell a lot about the history of these places and the reign of the legendary Montenegrin vladar – Ivan Crnojevic.

Today, little is remembered of those events. But this does not prevent tourists from willingly taking pictures on the picturesque coast or against the backdrop of an old stone bridge. And fishing enthusiasts can count on a rich catch in these places – the local waters are rich in nimble eels, which, when baked with cheese, go well under the local brandy.
You can appreciate this by taking a walk along the quiet water surface of the river on a small fishing boat. After 2 hours we will find ourselves on Lake Skadar – the largest in the Balkans. While sailing, you will enjoy the picturesque landscapes, as well as the rich flora and fauna of these places. You will visit the functioning monastery of the 15th century – Kom, built at the foot of the Odra Mountain, away from prying eyes, after which you will have the opportunity to swim in fresh water and sunbathe on the sandy beach.
Returning to the shore, on the cozy terrace of the restaurant you will taste freshly prepared fish and plunge into the atmosphere of local customs and traditions.
