The main city of the bay can rightly be called Kotor, because, since ancient times it has been the center of the political and cultural life of the Adriatic, competing with Dubrovnik and other strong cities in the Mediterranean. Thanks to the richest historical and cultural heritage, Kotor is a real decoration and “visiting card” of Boka Kotorska.
The unique architecture of Kotor is a reflection of several bright eras in its history. The Roman and then the Byzantine Empire, the Republic of Venice and other great states contributed to the cultural development of Kotor and made it a truly unique and unique city.
You will walk along the narrow streets of old Kotor, visit the most famous architectural monuments and learn many interesting facts and legends from the history of the city. Next, you will find the ancient city of Perast, where Russian sailors were trained in sailing during the time of Peter I, and a boat trip along the bay with a landing on the island where the famous Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rock is located. At your request, the tour can take place in the evening. This will allow you to enjoy your vacation without experiencing discomfort from the sweltering heat of the day. Having plunged into the evening coolness of the Bay of Kotor, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of ancient Kotor in the rays of the setting sun.
