Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva Nominated for the Best Summer Destination 2024 in Regional Award

The Director of the Tourist Organization of Budva, Nemanja Kuljača, was informed yesterday about the nomination of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva (TOB) for the prestigious regional award “Leaders in Tourism 2024 – Best Summer Destination 2024,” as announced by TOB.

According to the announcement, the nomination includes regional leading companies from the commercial and public sectors, tourist destinations, and organizations that have marked this year with their achievements and promotional campaigns, including regional ski resorts, mountains, spas, tourist sites, and landmarks from Serbia, the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.

The annual award, “LEADERS IN TOURISM,” was established by the leading tourism portal putovanjaiturizam.com, which has received an award for the best portal in the category of travel, tourism, and sports from the prestigious PC PRESS.

The “LEADERS IN TOURISM” awards for 2024 will be presented in the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, Husein Memić, media representatives, companies, public figures, and diplomats on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the atrium of the National Museum in Belgrade.

The nomination justification states that Budva has been recognized as the most prestigious summer destination in the region in 2024 based on media evaluation and monitoring (interactions and impressions) of activities on this prestigious portal, which regularly publishes new, useful, and current information from the world of tourism, travel, gastronomy, sports, and culture, thus becoming part of the daily lives of followers not only from the country and region but also from the global domain.

“Regardless of the outcome of this nomination, we are pleased with the fact that, despite the challenges that marked this summer, we have received a form of recognition from visitors and tourists of Budva. The beauty of everything Budva generously offers, from beaches, coastline, sea, and tourist offerings, cannot be overshadowed. It is a true pleasure that this nomination for such a prestigious award occurred in our anniversary year, marking two and a half decades of organized open-air events in Budva. I am confident that, if we receive this award, we will do our best to justify the trust of the visitors who nominated us. We thank them and invite them to visit Budva during the winter holidays,” commented the Director of TO Budva, Nemanja Kuljača, on the nomination.
