Monstat: 81.42 Thousand Tourist Overnight Stays in December

According to Monstat’s preliminary data, in December last year, a total of 39.17 thousand tourist arrivals and 81.42 thousand overnight stays were recorded in collective accommodation in Montenegro.

“Of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 74.5% were foreign tourists, while 25.5% were domestic tourists,” the statement said.

In terms of the distribution of overnight stays by type of tourist location, the majority were recorded in:

• Coastal areas – 65.4%,
• The capital city – 21.3%,
• Mountain resorts – 9.3%,
• Other locations – 4.1%.
